Final Year Project Progress 60%

To get started, I'm an animation final year student in UniKL (MIIT) which located in Jalan Sultan Ismail next to DBKL building in Kg Baru. This year I've been assign to do a short animation film for the final year project. 

To brief a bit about what I'm doing, the animation is about an alien that accidentally landed on earth because of certain malfunction behavior on that alien’s space ship. Because of the crash, he needs to fix the spaceship in order to go back to his hometown. The concept for this animation is combination of futuristic and ancient times. The objective is to produce an animated short film and to create a moving alien 3D character. The animation technique that going to be used is by using 3D software called Autodesk Maya 2009 and some other software that related to the production process such as Adobe Premier, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effect. The other techniques is based on 12 principle of animation that usually been implemented inside 2D animation. The total duration time to complete the whole short animated film is approximately one years.
